Palangoje vykstančiose „Aurum 1006 km“ lenktynėse netrūksta ir nelaimių. Likus važiuoti kiek mažiau nei 100 ratų „AROS MARINE BY DREAM 2 DRIVE“ komandą ištiko nelaimė. 5-oje vietoje važiavęs E.Klepikas pametė „Porsche GT3 CUP 992“ automobilio ratą. Lietuvis juokaudamas teigė, jog pirmą kartą važiuodamas matė, kaip jį aplenkia jo mašinos ratas. Kiek vėliau į pirmąją vietą pakilęs „Circle K miles Plus Racing Team“ pilotas J.Jonušis lenkdamas varžovą ratu susidūrė su 12-oje vietoje važiavusiu „LISIPLAST by ČAPKAUSKAS– Autocentras team“ pilotu R. Čapkausku.
