The project is appealing to investors
Kasparas Juška, Head of Investments at SBA Urban: „We have successfully raised EUR 2.8 million over the first two tranches in 2024. This gives us confidence to continue the bond issuance as planned. This time, we will offer EUR 1.6 million of bonds with a coupon rate of 9.25%, paid semi-annually. The bonds mature in September 2026“.
The first phase of the Vėjo Miestelis project is progressing as planned. It is set to be completed by the summer of 2025. 25 A++ energy-class homes will be developed, together with a central park, a kiteboarding area, and other active leisure infrastructure. Starting from today, investors can purchase the bonds through the BeMyBond investment platform.
Indrė Dargytė, Head of BeMyBond, shares: „Vėjo Miestelis bond issue is one of our clients' favourite investment projects. The first tranche was redeemed in just a few hours at the end of the summer of 2024, and the second tranche in November was redeemed overnight. We expect similar interest for the subsequent tranches“.
The distribution of the third tranche of the bond issue starts today and will end on 29 January. If the issue is fully subscribed before, the distribution period may end earlier.
Vėjo Miestelis is rapidly rising
The first phase of the unique project, Vėjo Miestelis, located on the shores of the Curonian Lagoon, has already entered its second half. All 25 houses have been built, facades are being finished, tile roofs are installed, and interior work is underway. The street and parking spaces for the project's first phase have been asphalted, the earthworks for the central park have been completed, and the area's landscaping will start in the spring.
SBA Urban investment in the 36 ha Vėjo Miestelis project on the shore of the Curonian Lagoon is expected to amount to more than EUR 70 million. The second phase will offer 36 homes, and the subsequent phases will see the entire project concept realised, with short-term accommodation, co-working spaces, cafes, restaurants, spa areas, and a marina.
