Investors have already valued the project
Kasparas Juška, Head of Investments at SBA Urban: „The first phase of Vėjo Miestelis will be completed in May next year, and the project's contours are already visible. All 25 houses of the first phase are up and roofed, the aesthetics of the facade will soon be revealed, and the development of the central park is progressing rapidly. The project’s concept is unique not only in Lithuania but also abroad, and the 36-hectare territory in Svencelė, developed over several phases, will set a new standard regarding sustainability, quality, and amenities provided to its users. The first tranche of the bonds was fully subscribed in just a few hours, thus we will offer a new opportunity to invest in the second tranche starting November 20th“.
The issue size of the second tranche will be EUR 1.8 million, with 21-month maturity and 9.25% annual coupon rate, paid semi-annually. The minimum investment amount is EUR 1,000. The bonds will be available to individuals and legal entities through the innovative BeMyBond bond platform. The subscription period will begin on November 20th and end on November 27th or earlier if the planned amount is raised before the deadline.
Indrė Dargytė, Head of BeMyBond: „The bond market offers various projects suited to different risk preferences of the investors. It is important that major market players, such as the SBA Group, are involved in the bond market, offering investors high-quality projects and a reliable, long-term business reputation. We are pleased to be the platform connecting SBA Urban real estate projects with retail investors“.
During the first tranche of the bond issue, Vėjo Miestelis received strong investor confidence. In just 3 hours, a EUR 1 million was raised. One hundred sixty-six investors have selected the issue, with an average investment of EUR 5,435. It is one example of how, with a minimum amount of EUR 1,000 and the help of innovative investment platforms, private and corporate investors of all sizes and abilities can invest in securities.
Construction work is already well underway
Dainius Puodžiūnas, Head of Urban WIND, the SBA company which develops Vėjo Miestelis: „Bond issue proceeds will be used to develop the fast-growing first phase of the project. The RNDV Statyba contracting team will continue with the works inside, including the interior finishes. In February, the development of sports infrastructure will also commence – a sports field with two tennis courts and three padel courts. The completion of the construction works is planned for May 2025, and already in summer, lots of events will be held in Vėjo Miestelis. We are already in talks with the community and local cultural and art centres, whose initiatives will enrich the town's social life and the coastal area's entire population“.
